I have been an animal lover since birth and I remember as a young child loving animals so much that I decided I would not have children just incase they ended up being allergic to cats and dogs!
I have lived in Lawrence since October 2017, and have already fallen in love with this sweet little town. I have spent all of my adult life in Kansas City, MO and I grew up in St. Louis. I have a BS in Geology from UMKC and a have almost completed my Master’s degree in Geology. I work full time at WaterOne (the water utility company in Johnson County). I have fostered kittens for Wayside Waifs and Kansas City Pet Project, often caring for the sickest kittens who needed the most TLC. I now live in a small apartment, so fostering won’t ‘fit’ into my new life here, so working at Lawrence Pet Friends was the next logical step!
I love all the animals, humans included! In my free time I hang out with my three cats Squid Nugget, Dirty Turtie, and Uncle June. I love hiking, being outdoors, ecstatic dance, yoga, spending time with family and friends, hula hooping, gardening, and the list goes on and on. I am grateful for the opportunity to help care for Lawrence’s furry friends!
